The Second Świętokrzyskie Days of Early Music named after Vincent of Kielce

16 concerts in the most beautiful monuments of the Świętokrzyskie region: from Kielce Cathedral with the former Palace of the Bishops of Cracow, through Wiślica, Wąchock, Cistercian Jędrzejów, to the Abbey of the Holy Cross.

Open-air performance with baroque ballet buffo at the Busk spa Academy of Early Music in the post-Bernardine monastery on Karczówka

Outstanding performers and pedagogues: Aline Zylberajch and Martin Gester, Bolette Roed and Marek Toporowski, Piotr Olech, Robert Bachara and Jaan-EikTulve

Outstanding ensembles: the Arte Dei Suonatori orchestra, The Hartig Ensemble from Prague, the Vox Clamantis schola from Tallinn. Young talents and musicians from Kielce.

Alongside well-known masterpieces of early music, such as the Te Deum of M-A. Charpentier or Bach's triple harpsichord concertos, we also heard Monteverdi's opera Ballo delle ingrate, music from the British Isles played on harpsichord, virginal and pianoforte, Haydn's songs for countertenor and pianoforte. Finally, we reached out to Gregorian chant and medieval polyphony in dialogue with Arvo Pärt's close contemporary work.
