A Meeting of Cultures: Mozart and Jewish Songs

Museum of Nature and Technology “Ekomuzeum” Jan Pazdur – Starachowice

The Museum of Nature and Technology in Starachowice is located on the grounds of a former steelworks, with roots tracing back to a 15th-century Cistercian smithy in Wąchock. The preserved complex illustrates the development of metallurgy from the 18th century through the era of the Central Industrial District. Highlights include an 1899 blast furnace and a unique post-industrial space. Established in 2001 at the initiative of Prof. Jan Pazdur, the museum combines industrial heritage with regional history.

Museum in Starachowice Anna Firlus

Anna Firlus (harpsichord) – A graduate and lecturer at the Katowice Academy of Music, she performs as a soloist and chamber musician on harpsichord, organ, and other keyboard instruments. She is a member of the Historical Orchestra {oh!} and has appeared at festivals such as Bayreuth Barock Festspiele, Bachfest Leipzig, Actus Humanus, and Misteria Paschalia.

Dawid Biwo

Dawid Biwo (bass-baritone) – Graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Winner of competitions in Kraków and Gliwice. He specializes in early music and has performed at Utrecht Oude Muziek, Tartini Festival, Starosądecki Festival, and the Bach Festival in Świdnica. He collaborates with Capella Cracoviensis, {oh!}, and Arte dei Suonatori.
